![]() Keep in mind, I asked him if I could do it. We had another 4 hour trip home, most of which would be at night, and if I could at least help my visibility for a little while, I figured it would be worth it. During this time, I ask their obvious LGOTTP (Low Guy On The Totem Pole), who has been relegated to painting the walls, if I can wheel my bike into the washing bay and rinse all the crap off the windshield. Then he tells me that he took it apart and performed a temporary repair so that my speakers would work until the new harness came in. Tells me he found the problem, bad wiring, and that he would order me a new harness. When we got back, I went and talked to the tech who was working on my bike. So we walked over to Subway and got a sandwich, and walked back. And that would have been fine.Īfter the friendly greeting, both bikes were IMMEDIATELY wheeled into the service bay and we were kindly offered shelf space to stow our gear while we waited. I expected a diagnosis, maybe some parts to be ordered and then, another trip down there. Both bikes are well under warranty, so there was no money to be made here. My back speakers weren't working and my friend ('09 Titanium) thought he might be having battery troubles and his low tire pressure light had come on intermittently during the trip. The very second we walked in to the service area, we were greeted and given the work orders to sign. Needless to say, the bikes were filthy and the windshields covered in a dark, gray layer of dried spray from every truck we got stuck behind going up the hills. Well, we showed up an hour later than the appointment we had made after riding through 4 hours of wet mountain roads. So with memories of my excellent buying experience as my barometer, I figured at least I'd get in the year's first ride. I take the bike and it's maintenance very seriously, and nothing pisses me off worse than having to deal with some rude 19 year old kid breaking stuff just to get to the problem that he can't fix. I've never heard anything particularly good about any of them, and my friend had a particularly bad experience with one of them. EVEN THOUGH I've got Honda dealers at 30 minutes, an hour, and two hours away from my house. So when my rear speakers stopped working, I figured I'd give them the first shot at dealing with it. 15 minutes later I'm with the service technician giving me the run down on my new Wing. I bought the bike there and my experience was great. Not a trip I'm going to take just for s**ts and giggles. About 8 hours on the road, plus whatever time is spent in the shop. I live in Branson, MO so going down there is an all day, and into the night affair. Let me first say that a trip to Sunrise Honda is about a 4 hour ride.
